fa تاثیر مصرف سیگار بر ابتلا به زبان باردار و مودار بیوشیمی Biochemical تحلیلی Research سابقه‌ و هدف‌: استفاده از دخانیات یکی از مشکلاتی است که جوامع امروزی با آن مواجه می باشند، مخاط دهان و زبان نیز در معرض مواد حاصل از دخانیات و دود آن هستند که این مواد باعث ضایعاتی چون زبان باردار و مودار می شوند. هدف از این مطالعه تاثیر میزان مصرف سیگار بر ابتلا به زبان باردار و مودار می باشد. <br>مواد و روشها: مطالعه به صورت مقطعی بر روی 534 نفر (262 فرد غیرسیگاری، 136 فرد سیگاری و 136 فرد سیگاری حرفه ای) از بین بیماران مذکر مراجعه کننده به بخش بیماری های دهان دانشکده دندانپزشکی بابل در طی سال های 1384 و 1385 انجام شد. نمونه ها به صورت تصادفی غیرآسان انتخاب شدند. بیمارانی که قهوه و الکل، آنتی بیوتیک و دهان شویه های اکسید کننده مصرف می کردند و یا سابقه مصرف آنتی اسید در یک ماه گذشته و یا دارای پروتز متحرک و بیماری سیستمیک بودند وارد مطالعه نشدند. بیماران در سه گروه مورد مطالعه قرار گرفتند و مبنای گروه بندی نیز براساس میزان مصرف سیگار بود.<br>یافته ها: فراوانی زبان باردار در سه گروه غیرسیگاری، سیگاری و سیگاری حرفه ای به ترتیب 26(9/9%)،50 (8/36%)،70 (5/51%) گزارش شد. فراوانی زبان مودار نیز به ترتیب 1 (4/0%)، 5 (7/3%) و 32 (5/23%) بود. همچنین توزیع فراوانی زبان باردار و زبان مودار به طور معنی داری در افراد سیگاری حرفه ای بیشتر از افراد سیگاری بود (0.01=p و 0.0001>p). هم چنین این درصد در افراد سیگاری هم به طور معنی داری بیشتر از افراد غیرسیگاری بود (0.0001>p).<br>بحث‌ و نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج این مطالعه حاکی از آن است که میزان مصرف سیگار تاثیر مستقیمی بر احتمال ابتلا به زبان باردار و مودار دارد. لذا لزوم آموزش های مداوم در این خصوص ضروری است. BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: One of the problems that the developed societies are faced to it is smoking. The oral mucosa and the tongue are also exposed to the tobacco products and smoke. Coated and hairy tongue is the lesions that can be developed due to the use of tobacco. The aim of this study was to determine the influence of the amount of cigarette smoking on the occurrence of two lesions called coated and hairy tongue.<br>METHODS: This cross sectional study was done on 534 subjects (262 non-smokers, 136 smokers and 136 heavy smokers) of the male patients who were referred to the oral disease section of Babol dental school during 2005 and 2006. Patients who didn receive antibiotic, oxidizing mouthwashes, antiacids, alcohol and coffee during the past month and didn have removable prosthesis and the history of systemic disease were included in the study. The patients have been matched in three groups according to the amount of cigarette consumption.<br>FINDINGS: The frequency of coated tongue in the three groups non-smokers, smokers and heavy smokers were 26 (9.9%), 50 (36.8%) and 70 (51.5%), respectively and also the frequency of hairy tongue were 1 (0.4%), 5 (3.7%), 32 (23.5%), respectively.
