fa بررسی اپیدمیولوژیک آسـیب‌های سـر در بیماران مراجعه کننده به بخش اورژانس An Epidemiological Study of Head Injuries in Patients Referred to the Emergency Department اپیدمیولوژی Epidemiology تحقیقی Research <div style="text-align: justify;">سابقه و هدف: آسیب‌های سر با پیامدهای زیانبار خود می‌توانند هزینه‌های قابل توجهی در حوزه سلامت، درمان و توانبخشی برای بیماران و سیستم بهداشت و درمان به همراه داشته باشند. بنابراین، اجرای برنامه‌های پیشگیرانه مناسب برای مدیریت بیماران دارای آسیب‌های مغزی ضروری است که این امر مستلزم انجام ارزیابی‌های اپیدمیولوژیک اولیه می‌باشد. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی اپیدمیولوژیک آسـیب‌های سـر در بیماران مراجعه کننده به بخش اورژانس بیمارستان گنجویان در شهر دزفول می‌باشد. مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه مقطعی بر روی تمام بیماران دارای آسیب‌های سر، مراجعه کننده به بخش اورژانس بیمارستان گنجویان شهر دزفول طی سال‌های 1400-1398، انجام شد. اطلاعات دموگرافیک، اطلاعات مربوط به زمان، علت آسیب و پیامد آن از نظر مدت بستری در چک‌ لیستی جمع آوری و بررسی گردید. یافته‌ها: در این مطالعه مجموعاً 996 بیمار دارای آسیب‌های سر مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفتند. عوامل اصلی ایجاد آسیب شامل تصادفات رانندگی با سهم 66/46%، سقوط از ارتفاع با 97% و کمترین سهم مربوط به درگیری‌های فیزیکی با 4/61% بود. از 83 بیمار دچار آسیب به سر، 69 نفر آقا و 14 نفر خانم بودند. آقایان تقریباً 4 برابر خانم‌ها دچار آسیب به سر شده‌اند. از نظر فصل وقوع بیشتر آسیب‌های سر در فصل بهار و در ساعات پایانی شب رخ داده‌اند و برخی از آسیب‌های ثانویه و طولانی شدن مدت بستری با روش انتقال بیمار از محل حادثه به اورژانس مرتبط بود. به طور میانگین به مدت 8/5 روز بستری شدند. نتیجه‌گیری: نتایج مطالعه نشان داد که بیشترین آسیب به سر مربوط به تصادفات رانندگی می‌باشد. لذا سیاستگذاران حوزه سلامت باید مدیریت نیروی انسانی و امکانات موجود را بازنگری کنند. </div> <pre aria-label="نوشتار ترجمه‌شده: Background: Head injuries with their harmful consequences can result in significant health, treatment, and rehabilitation costs for patients and the healthcare system. The aim of the present study is to investigate the epidemiology of head injuries in patients presenting to the emergency department of Ganjavian Hospital in Dezful. Methods: The present cross-sectional study was conducted on all patients with head injuries presenting to the emergency department of Ganjavian Hospital in Dezful from 2019 to 2021. Demographic information and data pertaining to the time, cause, and outcome of the injury in terms of the duration of hospitalization were collected and examined using a checklist. Findings: In the present study, a total of 996 patients with head injuries were evaluated. The main causes of injury included traffic accidents with a share of 66.46%, falls from height with 97%, and the smallest share was related to physical altercations with 4.61%. Of the 83 patients with head injuries, 69 were male and 14 were female. Males sustained head injuries approximately 4 times more frequently than females. In terms of the season of occurrence, most head injuries occurred in the spring and during the late hours of the night, and some secondary injuries and prolonged hospitalization were associated with the method of patient transfer from the scene of the accident to the emergency department. On average, patients were hospitalized for 8.5 days. Conclusion: The results of the study demonstrated that the most common cause of head injury is traffic accidents.
