Consideration of 31 codes of research ethics

Please state that informed consent was obtained from all human adult participants and from the parents or legal guardians of minors and include the name of the appropriate institutional review board that approved the project. It is necessary to indicate in the text that the maintenance and care of experimental animals complies with the current laws of the country in which they were performed. All ethical considerations about subjects (human and animal) and other research components should be based on compliance with the Helsinki Declaration and 31 codes of research ethics in Iran.

In clinical trial studies, clinical trial registration number (IRCT) should be provided and also the Research Ethics Committee approval is required.
